FLSmidth Krebs currently provides approximately ninety percent (90%) of the hydrocyclones that are utilized in today's coal preparation plants, with sizes ranging from 4" to 40" hydrocyclones. There are approximately 600mm tons of raw coal per year that is cleaned throughout 500 United States Coal Preparation Plants utilizing hydrocyclones for one application or another.
Recently Krebs coal cyclone technology gained acceptance in other regions of the world such as, Poland and South Africa.
